Ensuring a Bright Future for all Students

The Sunnyvale Education Foundation (SEF) was incorporated in 2015 in order to generate support for high quality, enriched education for all students in Sunnyvale School District. Since that time SEF has established itself as a leading organization in Sunnyvale, made up of parents, educators, and supporters across our community, incorporating voices from all District schools into discussions and decision making, working in community to support bright futures for all students.

As of 2026, SEF has provided nearly $2 million dollars in grants and donations to support great programs and resources in Sunnyvale schools. But money is only part of any lasting solution. SEF”s impact also derives from its foundational spirit of collaboration and commitment to equity. Together we can do more.

• State of the City – Saturday, September 19 at Sunnyvale City Hall — City of Sunnyvale’s annual address and awards celebration
• State of the District – Friday, October 2 — hear from Sunnyvale School District leaders and other special guests at this inspiring student-centered event, now in its 2nd year
