The Sunnyvale Education Foundation was happy to put money towards choral risers at Columbia Middle School. They have a fabulous music program; music classes teach not only musicianship, but also creativity.

Sunnyvale Education Foundation is proud to have donated $800 toward an event with the Marine Science Institute at Columbia Middle School.
“We really enjoy having the Marine Science Institute come to our school and visit our 7th graders. The students truly value the experience of seeing adaptations in real life, especially considering how animals are from a local source. Thank you for helping make it happen!”
– Evvy Elwood, Science teacher.

We’re happy to have once again granted funds – $15,000! – to the Sunnyvale Elementary School District to support science camp. As you know, many students in the district struggle to pay the fee to attend science camp in 5th grade. We are happy to support equal education for all students across the district.
If you want to help support science camp and other ways we support the Sunnyvale School District, please donate today.

The Exploratorium is a very cool place. You get to learn so much about science and play around with things that happen in the real world. It’s amazing that it all helps you learn!

We were super-happy to help San Miguel make this field trip possible for their students. They got to discover a new, neat place and learn about science while they were there. Thanks to everyone who donated who helped make this possible.

These bracelets are so cute! They’re courtesy of a new program at Bishop Elementary School, Compassion It, designed to inspire daily compassionate activities and attitudes. We’re proud to have supported this program, bringing a little more kindness into kids’ lives.

We’ve been making some small website changes here, tweaking some text there… Mainly, it’s just streamlining things. But I’m particularly happy with one change we’ve made: the What We Support page. It’s a partial list of the things we have paid for or done across the district. There are so many things that we cover, that it’s hard to sum them all up in one place without being too generic – but we’ve tried to make a list that encompasses the spirit of everything we do, things like our quarterly round tables, the free TB testing, supplies for various classes and events across the district.
The page will be updated as necessary – take a look if you’re curious about what we’re up to!
